All our punches are made from high carbon tool steel. When heat-treated, the carbon molecules alter their composition to provide a tough and wear resisting structure throughout the entire punch. Tempering back avoids brittleness. Mild steel has hardly any carbon molecules and so can only be case hardened (an artificial hardness on the surface only.)

Standards: Inside bevel, Centre bevel, Side eject ( side clear), Back clear (feed through), IB spring eject, CB spring eject, Bowl (cup), Etc.

Tool steel punches are superior to punches made from mild steel. All punches are made and heat treated in our factory.

We have extensive stocks of standard round cutting punches from 1.5mm (1/16") diameter to 32mm (1.1/4") diameter in a range of standard types at 23.80mm (.937") high.

Larger diameters available - Other heights stocked especially on the smaller diameters.
